My Goal, at the Beginning

Just to start with an explanation.... I am starting this blog for a few reasons. 

First, I want to write some more. I have a million and one ideas for things and I need to get them down in writing. Sometimes, they are things that will be hand-written in a journal, but there is still a lot I would like to share with the world, or at least anyone interested. This is my venue for that. 

Second, I have been interested and involved with Paganism and Witchcraft for nearly 20 years now. Sure, I had kind of a dead time in there where I really didn't do much of anything, and perhaps I will write about that at some point, but recording my journey has been sporadic. I have some things in various journals, all about half full because you know that is always how it goes, and I had a livejournal for a while as well. However, this journey I am on now is more real than it ever has been. I am more aware than I ever have been, and more involved in my community and more intensely trying to dig deeper into my magic and my spiritual connection and who I am as a person and as a witch. Blogging things as I go will be a record of this. 

Lastly, this is a place for me to put anything I write as an article or whatever manages to come out. I am editor of an online magazine for my community and while I mostly will be asking my community to submit articles, sometimes I will have my own ideas, and this is where I will keep what I've written. For the most part, this pretty much falls in with everything else, I'll just pull from what I've already done if I need it, and any short articles I write for the magazine will be more in depth of they make it on here. 

Basically, of the many places I will touch on this journey, known and unknown, I want to be able to write about it and share it on this blog. Maybe if anyone else ends up reading, they can get something from it as well.
